Vintage “All-Round Development” report card, copyright 1920 for the Culver Military Academy in Culver, IN (Indiana)..card has 4 pages, not filled in, picture shows front and back cover, inside has requirements for the “distinguished cadet” to complete in order to get the credits needed, these categories include “athletics”, “aquatics”, “military”, “cavalry”, “naval”, “academic”, “band”…and then explain under each one the specific duties to perform….Measures 3 1/2 by 6 1/2 inches, excellent condition! Crisp condition, no rips or tears, some slight browning places from age, Interesting piece 86 years old! Mailing $1.25.

I wonder how challenging it would be to fulfill the 1920 requirements at today’s Culver. If one of the required points is “wrestle a bear and offer his pelt as a gift to a visiting theater student” then I think we’d all be out of luck…
It might be an interesting challenge to throw out to someone this summer however, to see how many 1920 points they can knock off without breaking the law or inviting excessive liability upon the camp…
