Welcome to the Culverpedia, a new project sponsored by GoCulver.com that will enable alumni and campers of Culver Summer Schools to document and organize the vast amount of knowledge and history out there about Culver's summer programs.

If you've signed up for membership here or over at the forums you've got full posting access here on the Culverpedia. This means you can create your own entries (for instance a page about Deck One's Rubber Duck Mascot or about the history of X-Country races on wednesday mornings at camp.)

It also means you can edit and make additions to other people's entries. For example someone might start up a page that talks about the Ledbetter and while they might have a great deal of information about the ship you may think of some other things worth saying about it. So you can click on edit and add your own words in and around what they've written or simply delete sections of its.

As you might imagine an open source project like this means that users have to be respectful of others people's efforts. You shouldn't just erase something someone wrote because you don't think its well-written. Work with what they have or simply add your won material to the same page.

With all that said, let's start putting Culver Summer Camps down for posterity!
